Ordinary low carbon steel plate is divided into cold rolled and hot rolled two kinds, cold rolled steel plate surface quality is good, thickness size is accurate, used for manufacturing body and so on. Hot rolled plate is used to make frame and so on.
Types and uses of low carbon steel plate
The types of steel plate are usually divided into thick plate (more than 6mm), medium thick plate (3-6mm) and thin plate (below 3mm) according to its thickness. Low carbon steel plate can be divided into cold rolling and hot rolling. Hot rolling alone can produce low carbon steel plates of about 1.2mm and stainless steel plates of about 2mm. Thinner plates are made by cold rolling and annealing and tempered rolling.
Cold rolled steel sheet
Cold rolled steel plate used in parts forming requires large plastic deformation degree of material, surface should not have wrinkle, crack and other parts. Hot rolled steel plate
Than cold rolled steel manufacturing process is simple, the cost is cheap, but the experience of abroad think hot rolling method is only applicable to manufacture more than 1.6 mm thick steel plate, the more thin plates is not economic, hot rolled steel plate surface quality and dimension precision are worse than cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel plate, car in addition to the frame longitudinal beam, beam and a variety of stents, Also stamping requirements of a certain strength of the wheel rim, wheel, etc., as well as the force is not large, the surface is not too high shell cover plate, etc. The former is 3-5 mm thick steel plate, while the latter is used for medium plate and thin plate. The hot rolled plate used in automobile is mostly thick plate. According to the standard of hot SLSN plate for automobile developed by Japan Automobile Association, SAPH class is used for car beam and wheel, while SPH class is used for hot rolled soft steel plate to make shell without stress.
